The ACAO Youth Soccer Program, delivered in partnership with Mama Africa FC, is a free, community-driven grassroots soccer program created to support youth from families with low incomes, ensuring financial barriers never stand in the way of participation, growth, or belonging.
About the Program
Our focus is development over results. Using soccer as a positive development tool, we help youth build confidence and self-esteem, discipline and resilience, teamwork and leadership, and a healthy, lifelong love for sport. The program is free and open to all youth, with priority given to families who may otherwise face financial barriers to organized sports.
For Parents & Guardians
We recognize that many families with low incomes face limited access to structured, affordable youth programs. This initiative is designed to ease that burden while providing safe, high-quality programming your child deserves.
Parents and guardians can expect a safe, inclusive, and supervised environment; structured training led by positive role models; mentorship rooted in respect, discipline, and community values; and a program that supports both athletic and personal development.
A Proven Model of Success
This program builds on ACAO’s proven success delivering free and accessible youth sports initiatives, including our impactful partnership with the African Hockey Association (AHA). Through AHA, ACAO has helped remove financial and systemic barriers to participation, opening doors for youth who may not otherwise have access to organized sport.
